The cabin

The cabin has 5 beds in a bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed and a sleeping loft over the double bed (which all children love). Living room with comfortable sofa (), cozy reading chair, newly renovated kitchen, stove with oven, fridge / freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Fireplace, TV, WC with wash basin, shower and sauna. Wifi is available. For those of you with children, there are sleds, snowracers and kicks to borrow. The yard where the house is located is also excellent to play on as there are large piles of snow after the snow removal. Usually popular with children. Smoking ban. Dogs are welcome.

Spring/summer/autumn is also worth a visit! What is growing the most right now is summer and autumn in the mountains.

HEMFJÄLLSTANGEN, 675 metres above sea level, is secluded with Sälen's best cross-country skiing. If you want to go cross-country skiing in the woods and on marshland, you can put on your skis outside the door. For a trip on the mountain to Lindvallen/Högfjället, you go on Sälenringen, which starts/ends at the top of Hemfjällstangen. On the tour you will pass; Mellanfjällsstugan, Hemfjällsstugan and Storfjällsgraven.

Nearest downhill - take the old mountain road (Hemfjällsvägen) to Lindvallen, about 13 km from the cottage or go to Kläppen via Transtrand, about 13 km from the cabin.

Activities

There are lots of different activities and excursions. For example; fantastic hiking trails over the mountains, canoeing, fishing (with both grayling and trout), golf, high rope courses, padel courts, indoor swimming/adventure pool in Experium, swimming outdoors in several places, cycling both in the forest and downhill slopes. Fantastic mountain lakes, some with shelters and fireplaces. In late summer and autumn, berry and mushroom picking with the forest's gold, cloudberries, in focus.
